826 National welcomes new board member Terry Wit

We are thrilled to announce that Terry Wit, a partner in the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, is the newest member of our Board of Directors. In 2011, Super Lawyers Magazine named Terry as a "Northern California Rising Star" in business litigation, and he has also consulted for a number of notable nonprofits. Over the past several months he's worked tirelessly to help improve 826 materials.

"As the father of a five-year old who has recently started 'writing' books about superheroes, evil chefs, and robots, I want to do whatever I can to help out an organization that brings that same love of books and writing to kids everywhere," Terry said in a recent Q&A in our newsletter.
