HOW TO FALL IN LOVE WITH A PEANUT
Written by the second graders of Cleveland Elementary School during their field trip to 826 Valencia

Once upon a time, there lived a middle-schooler named Randy. Randy was a bully who was terrified of ants and loved to eat peanuts.

Randy’s love of peanuts was so profound that he longed for Kelly-Kelly, an 8th grader with a peanut shaped head and peanuts adorning her skirt and necklace.

Kelly-Kelly’s family was very wealthy and lived in a peanut-shaped mansion with a pool full of salt and a golf course. To celebrate her graduation, they decided to throw a peanut party.

Accompanying Randy to the party was his brother, George. Unlike Randy, George was a short and fat nerd who always dressed very well—in fact, at this party he was wearing his finest tuxedo.

Unfortunately, George was intensely allergic to peanuts and being dragged to this party put him in a foul mood.

“I can’t wait to see Kelly-Kelly,” said Randy. In a contemptuous voice, George responded, “Ewww, why would you want to do that. Peanuts are disgusting!”

George thought to himself, “I’ve got to ruin this party before Randy meets Kelly-Kelly! What if I start breaking things and throwing food away when I get there?”...
