One night I was roasting marshmallows. The fire was dancing with orange, red and yellow flames. My last s’more had been dark brown, had lots of mini mountains on it, and had crust like paper. The chocolate was half melted and the crackers had the perfect crunch. I decided to try a new way. I would burn my marshmallow brown. I stuffed a silver tong into the brown of the marshmallow. I shoved the tong into the red heart of the flame, which immediately flew into flames. Quick as a flash I pulled it out and blew on it. After a few huge blows, the flame settled. The marshmallow was black as midnight and the black Frisbee top had fallen off. I decided this was not the way to cook marshmallows.
