I can’t tell you how long I’ve been here. Freezing winters and flaming summers go by. Kids walk by every day I see them grow from miniature to large. Couples and families move in and out of the neighborhood. I have seen comets pass by and stars flickering, I have even seen an eclipse. I have spiders indented in my skin and vines all over me. I’ve become nature. All the things I used to care about before don’t mean anything anymore. Makeup and clothes aren’t important. I may have dirt all over me and leaves in my hair, but I’ve never felt this pretty before. I’ve become art.
